How to play
- Choose 1 player against the CPU or 2 players on one device.
- The blob marked IT carries the bubble. If that is you, chase your rival and touch them to pass it on.
- If you are not IT, run! Use jumps, double jumps and drops to put ledges between you and the chaser.
- Whoever is IT when the 30-second fuse runs out pops and loses the round. Win 3 rounds to win the match.
- After a tag the new chaser is dizzy for a moment, so there are no instant tag-backs.
- Grab the lightning berry for a short burst of speed. It appears on a ledge a few seconds into each round.
- Tip: a chaser on the same ledge is easy to dodge with a double jump straight over their head.
- Tip: on the Ice Rink you slide when you let go, so start turning early, and in Bounce Park the yellow pads throw you to the top of the arena.
- Your score against the CPU counts the rounds you win, the seconds you spend not being IT and a bonus for winning the match. A separate best is kept for each CPU level.
- Tip: when you are IT, cut the corner instead of following your rival's exact path. Watch which ledge they jump for and get under it first, then jump up through it as they land.
- Tip: when you are running, stay near the middle of the arena. A corner by the wall leaves only one way out, and the chaser is a little faster than you while they carry the bubble.
- In 2 players on a phone, hold it sideways for the biggest arena: Mint uses the buttons on the left, Pink the buttons on the right. Upright, Pink's buttons move to the top of the screen.
- The last five seconds beep, and the fuse ring around the bubble turns pink. That is the moment for a desperate dive at your rival.

About Tag Blob

Tag Blob is a fast two-blob chase across a platform arena. One blob is IT and carries a ticking bubble with a fuse that burns down over 30 seconds; touch your rival to pass the bubble on, and whoever is still IT when it pops loses the round. Run, jump, double jump in mid-air and drop down through the ledges to get away or to close in, and grab the lightning berry for a few seconds of extra speed. After every tag the new chaser is dizzy for a moment and cannot tag straight back, so a clever escape always has a chance. The first blob to win 3 rounds takes the match, and the arena changes every round: the Backyard with its stacked ledges, Bounce Park with springy pads that launch you to the top, and the slippery Ice Rink where stopping takes planning. Play against the CPU, which steps up a level every time you beat it and eases off after two losses in a row, or challenge a friend on the same keyboard or the same phone, where each player gets their own set of buttons. The mint blob is round and the pink blob is square, and the blob that is IT always wears the label and the bubble, so you can tell who is who at a glance.
