How to play
- Move around the clearing while your lantern fires at nearby enemies. Collect the amber sparks they drop to gain experience.
- At each level, choose one of three upgrades. Time stops while you decide. Ward protects the space around you; Frost slows a wider crowd; bolts handle enemies at range.
- Combine Ward II with Embers III to burn nearby enemies. Rapid III with Frost II adds a small burst when bolts hit chilled enemies.
- Watch pale warning lines before Thorn charges and Wisp shots. Coral diamond projectiles hurt you; amber sparks are safe to collect.
- At 2, 4 and 6 minutes, a camp collects remaining sparks and restores up to 15 health. Progress saves there on this browser when storage is available. Leaving mid-sector returns to that checkpoint.
- The Keeper arrives at 7:00. Defeat it and survive at least eight minutes to win. If it is still alive at twelve minutes, the run ends at dawn.
- Score comes from time survived, enemies defeated and beating the Keeper, with remaining health as a win bonus. Best scores are personal to this browser; this game has no public leaderboard.

- Keep a route out of the crowd while collecting sparks. A tempting pickup is less useful if it leads you into a pocket with enemies on every side.
- Choose upgrades that work with the build you already have. Concentrating on a useful combination can be clearer to play than spreading every choice across unrelated effects.
