Privacy Policy

Wobbles Games has no accounts and asks for no personal information. This page lists exactly what the site keeps on your device and what is sent over the network when you play.

Last updated

The short version

  • No sign-up, no accounts, no profiles.
  • Wobble itself sets no cookies.
  • Favorites, recently played games and settings stay in your browser on this device.
  • Scores on the online leaderboards are stored with a nickname and a random player ID, nothing else (see “Leaderboards” below).
  • Games are loaded from this site and make no requests to other websites.
  • There are no ads.

What is stored on your device

Wobble uses your browser's local storage, not cookies. This data is never sent to us or anyone else; it only exists in this browser on this device. The site uses these keys:

  • wobble:favorites: the games you marked as favorites (up to 100)
  • wobble:recent-games: the last 12 games you played and when you played them
  • wobble:recent-searches: your last 6 searches on this site
  • wobble:preferences: whether game sound is muted and whether interface sounds are on
  • wobble:streak: your daily game streak: the days you finished the daily game (up to the last 60) and your best streak
  • wobble:player: your anonymous leaderboard player ID and nickname (only once you start a round of a game with a leaderboard)

Some games also save their own progress, always under a key that includes the game's name:

  • wobble:game:<game>:best: your best score in that game
  • wobble:game:<game>:best:<variant>: your best for one track, test or mode, in games that keep a best for each
  • wobble:game:<game>:history: your last ten results in each test, so you can compare with yourself
  • wobble:game:<game>:cpu-level: the computer difficulty you last chose (games with a CPU opponent)
  • wobble:game:<game>:daily: your result in that day's daily challenge
  • wobble:game:<game>:skin, :paint: the ball, basket or car style you picked
  • wobble:game:<game>:level, :bests, :goals: level progress, per-level bests and completed goals
  • wobble:game:<game>:best:<mode>, :tally: your best result and your win, loss and draw record for each difficulty or mode
  • wobble:game:<game>:save: an unfinished game, so it is still there after a reload
  • wobble:game:<game>:settings, :stats: your game options (such as draw 1 or draw 3) and games played, won and your streak

You can clear your recent searches and recently played games from the site itself. To remove everything, clear this site's data in your browser settings. Private or incognito windows forget it when you close them.

What is sent over the network

Pages, games, images and fonts are all served from this site. Fonts are bundled with the site, so no request goes to a font service. The games run in a frame loaded from this site and make no network requests of their own.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives the technical details of each request (such as your IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.

Clicks on games and searches are recorded as simple events inside the page, but they are not sent anywhere. This build loads no analytics service.

Leaderboards

Some games have online leaderboards. When you finish a round of one of them, this page (not the game) sends your score to our server, which runs on Cloudflare and stores it in a Cloudflare D1 database. We store only:

  • a random anonymous player ID, created the first time you start such a round;
  • your nickname: “Player” and four digits until you choose one (please don't use your real name);
  • your best score for each game and board, with the time you set it;
  • for each round you start, the game and the start time, so the server can check the score is real.

Nothing else is stored: no email, no account, no cookies. Your IP address is used only briefly to stop flooding and is not saved with your scores. Daily boards are kept for 14 days and weekly boards for 8 weeks; round records are deleted after a day. Your nickname and scores are visible to everyone on the leaderboards.

Your player ID is kept in this browser under wobble:player. To have your scores and nickname deleted, contact us with your nickname (or the player ID) and we will remove them.

Wobble shows no ads today. If we add them, we will update this policy before any ad appears and ask for consent where the law requires it.
