How to play
- Choose a piece from the rack and place it into empty spaces on the 8 by 8 tray. Pieces cannot rotate or overlap.
- Fill any full row or column to clear it. Crossing lines clear together, opening more space.
- Placed tiles earn 5 points each. A clear earns 100 times lines squared; clearing again within three placements adds a chain bonus.
- Use all available pieces to receive the next hand. A new hand has a legal sequence; choosing a different position can still leave a piece blocked.
- Leave space for wide shapes. If you need a second chance, undo your last placement once per run.
- The run ends when no piece fits. If your undo is still available, choose Undo or Finish run. Best and unfinished board save only in this browser when storage is available.

About Block Arcade
Play Block Arcade, a free block puzzle game online. Fit shapes, clear rows and columns, build combos and continue your saved board on mobile or desktop.
Fit sets of up to three chunky pieces onto an 8 by 8 tray and clear full rows or columns. Every placed tile scores 5 points; clearing lines adds 100 times the number of lines squared, so a two-line clear earns 400 before tile and chain bonuses. Clear again within three placements to keep your clear chain going. New hands are constructed from a legal placement sequence, but your choices still determine whether the pieces will fit. Drag with a mouse or touch, or select a piece and tap its top-left slot. Keyboard players can choose with 1-3, move with arrows and place with Enter. You have one undo per run, your board can be continued after a reload when browser storage is available. There is no round timer or paid revive.
Block Arcade runs right in your browser on desktop, tablet and phone. There is nothing to download or install, and you don't need an account: press play and start.
Block Arcade tips and strategy
- Check where all the available shapes can fit before placing the first one. A small piece used too early can block the only opening large enough for another shape.
- Keep both rows and columns in mind when setting up a clearance. Leaving a few connected open spaces is often safer than creating isolated holes that no offered piece can fill.
